FCCA opens registration for its Caribbean Industry Summit

Registration has now opened for the Florida–Caribbean Cruise Association’s Cruise Conference and Trade Show—the sole official gathering representing cruise trade interests throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America. Scheduled for October 21–24 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the event is drawing increased interest from around one hundred cruise executives who have already confirmed attendance.

At the heart of the conference are bespoke, fifteen‑minute meetings that pair delegates directly with executive-level decision-makers—those who determine ship itineraries, onboard offerings, and destination investments. Attendees who register by August 31 gain eligibility to secure these sessions, access early-bird pricing, and reserve rooms at official conference hotels.

FCCA Chairman Micky Arison emphasized that this assembly is unique in the region for facilitating direct dialogue between cruise lines and industry stakeholders. FCCA CEO Michele Paige underlined the event’s track record, recounting how past programs have given rise to new tours and even full-scale destination infrastructure initiatives.

Historically, the revamped meeting-centric format has driven record engagement, with more than 940 one-on-one sessions held at last year’s conference. Early-bird rates and meeting eligibility both conclude on August 31, while general registration remains open through October 18. On-site registration will be available, though pricing will be less favourable due to additional logistical costs.

Limited rooms remain at the Sheraton Puerto Rico Resort & Casino and the Aloft San Juan, where many senior cruise-line professionals typically convene. These properties serve as official event hotels.

Organisers have indicated that a full programme of workshops, panels, and networking opportunities will be announced in the coming weeks.
