Explora Journeys, the luxury ocean travel brand of the MSC Group, has introduced a new offering known as the Sky & Sea fare. This arrangement has been devised to provide continuity of travel from the time a guest departs their chosen airport until the moment they embark upon the vessel.
The fare is available to travellers departing from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Canada, the United States, and Australia. It incorporates flight arrangements on principal routes from major airports in these countries to the embarkation and disembarkation ports of the voyage. Guests are afforded the ability to adjust their arrangements, whether by selecting an alternative domestic departure point or by choosing to upgrade to a higher flight class.
Sky & Sea has been structured to integrate all required elements of the journey into a single framework. This includes international flights in economy class, with the possibility of upgrading to Business or First Class, accommodation at hotels when necessary, private transfers between airports, hotels, and ports, as well as continuous guest support available at all times. The intent is to ensure that each stage of travel, from departure to embarkation, is executed with precision and efficiency.
Upon arrival aboard ship, travellers are introduced to the distinctive Explora Journeys experience. The vessel offers nine dining venues, each designed to represent the highest standards of culinary practice, while unlimited beverages, including fine wines and premium spirits, are made available throughout the voyage. Guests are also provided with high-speed internet access, the use of Ocean Wellness – The Spa and its thermal facilities, and inclusive gratuities. Service is maintained at a high level through an industry-leading host-to-guest ratio.
Bookings under the Sky & Sea fare are currently open for select voyages. The fare may be combined with other advantages already available, including the Explora Early Booking Benefit, the Extended Journeys programme, and the exclusive privileges accorded to members of the Explora Club.
