AmaWaterways has announced three additional 2026 departures for its Latin Touch river cruise program, designed to accommodate the increasing interest in river cruising among Spanish-speaking travelers. The newly added sailings include Melodies of the Danube from June 21st to 28th, Wonders of Colombia from October 21st to 28th, and Magic of Colombia from October 31st to November 7th.
Each voyage features a dedicated Spanish-language experience, integrating cultural elements and amenities tailored to Latin travelers. The itineraries include a Spanish-speaking cruise director, guided shore excursions conducted in Spanish, and daily programs, menus, and select entertainment presented in the same language. On the Melodies of the Danube sailing, guests will enjoy Latin-inspired performances on two evenings, while the Colombia itineraries include a themed celebration reflecting regional traditions.
Joao Miranda, AmaWaterways’ director of business development for Latin America, explained that the Latin Touch program was developed to create a river cruise experience aligned with the preferences and cultural identity of Spanish-speaking guests. He noted that since its introduction in 2022, the program has received strong response and engagement, prompting the company to expand its offerings. The 2026 schedule includes one European sailing along the Danube—one of the line’s most renowned itineraries—and two voyages in Colombia, a region where AmaWaterways has recently begun operations.
Through these additions, AmaWaterways continues to strengthen its commitment to the Latin American market and to provide a culturally enriched river cruising experience across both Europe and South America.
