Explora Journeys, the luxury ocean travel line within the MSC Group, has presented its first global voyage, Endless Worlds, scheduled to take place aboard Explora I.

The 128-day global itinerary, running from January 6th to May 14th, 2029, represents the brand’s inaugural opportunity to operate a continuous world-spanning journey. It will cover 4 continents, 29 countries and territories, and 63 ports, forming a single progression across the Indian, Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.

Conceived for travellers able to devote significant time to long-form exploration, the voyage reflects the company’s Ocean State of Mind philosophy, favouring deliberate pacing and cultural depth.

The route follows historical channels of trade and exchange, beginning in Dubai UAE on Jan 6th, then tracing onward to India and the Maldives, and continuing to Sri Lanka and Southeast Asian destinations, including Bali and Komodo.

The world voyage also marks Explora Journeys’ first venture into Australia and New Zealand, with calls at Sydney, Cairns, Airlie Beach, Brisbane, Melbourne, Tasmania, and NZ's fjords and Auckland.

The Transpacific crossing is designed to offer an extensive survey of its island nations, from Fiji and Tonga to the Cook Islands, French Polynesia and Easter Island. Upon reaching the Americas, Explora I will transit the Panama Canal and proceed north-to-south along the Pacific coast to ports in Chile and Peru. The final stage is a Transatlantic crossing visiting Bermuda and Portugal's Azores before concluding in Barcelona on May 14th.

Company leadership has described Endless Worlds as a significant step in the evolution of the brand, noting that the world journey is intended to present the globe as a continuous narrative rather than a sequence of isolated calls.

The full itinerary is divided into 7 smaller segments/passages, titled

  1. "A Passage Through Lands of Iridescent Seas & Inspiring Cities" (Dubai to Singapore)
  2. "A Passage that Traces the Edge of the East" (Singapore to Sydney)
  3. "A Passage Stretching Across the Southern Arc" (Sydney NSW to Auckland)
  4. "A Passage into the Sea of Islands" (Auckland to Tahiti)
  5. "A Passage to Rediscover Lost Horizons" (Papeete Tahiti to Valparaiso)
  6. "A Passage to Unveil the Many Americas" (Valparaíso to Miami)
  7. "A Passage through the Atlantic’s Mosaic" (Miami to Barcelona)

Life aboard is designed to follow the rhythm of extended ocean travel, with accommodations centred on ocean-front suites and private terraces. Culinary programmes, wellness offerings, enrichment events and visiting specialists will adjust throughout the voyage in line with regional influences. Shore experiences will be led by local experts to provide travellers with deeper context on each destination’s culture and environment.

The brand emphasises that logistical considerations have been simplified to reduce friction throughout the four-month crossing, allowing guests to concentrate on the progression of the voyage rather than its operational details.

Reservations for the Endless Worlds world journey are scheduled to open in early 2026. Guests may register interest through the company’s website, their preferred travel advisor or via the Explora Experience Centre.
