StarCruises and Under Armour introduce fitness-themed voyage on Star Voyager ship

StarCruises has entered into a collaboration with Under Armour to introduce Fitness @ Sea, a themed cruise centred on structured fitness programming, to be offered aboard Star Voyager from 19th to 23rd January 2026.

The 4-night itinerary is a round-trip from Port Klang, visiting Phuket and Singapore.

The scheduled shipboard program integrates organised activities, reflecting a broader shift toward experiential cruising. As part of the partnership, Under Armour will place a certified trainer to design and lead a series of fitness sessions throughout the voyage. The sessions will include a range of formats such as Animal Flow, Pilates-based classes, functional strength training and structured fitness challenges, adapted for participation at sea.

All Fitness @ Sea activities will be available to passengers at no additional cost, with enrolment managed onboard on a first-come basis following embarkation. Guests who complete the full sequence of sessions will be eligible to receive Under Armour merchandise, subject to availability.

StarCruises’ management has positioned the initiative as an example of how cruise offerings are expanding beyond traditional leisure models, combining physical activity with established onboard amenities. From the perspective of Under Armour’s regional leadership, the partnership aligns with the brand’s emphasis on performance as a mindset that can be applied across environments, including travel, and provides an opportunity to introduce fitness-focused experiences in a maritime setting.

Outside the dedicated fitness programming, Star Voyager will continue to offer StarCruises’ standard inclusive product, with selected dining venues included in the fare, among them halal-certified options within the Lido Restaurant. Guests will also have access to a broad range of recreational facilities and international entertainment as part of the cruise package.

Accommodation options range from interior and oceanview staterooms to balcony cabins, with premium travellers able to book The Palace Suites, which include private facilities and personalised butler service. Shore time will allow passengers to visit central Singapore directly from the Singapore Cruise Centre and experience Phuket’s coastal and cultural attractions.

The Fitness @ Sea sailing forms part of Star Voyager’s limited deployment from Port Klang between December 19th, 2025 and February 2nd, 2026. During this period, the vessel will offer regular short cruises for the Malaysian market, including 3-night voyages to Medan and Singapore departing on Fridays, and four-night itineraries to Phuket and Singapore departing on Mondays.
