My Cruises, a subsidiary of Ignite Travel within Australia’s Flight Centre Travel Group, has confirmed a further charter of Oceania Cruises’ vessel Regatta to operate a second extended global itinerary, marketed as the world’s longest cruise. This follows the introduction of the initial year-long voyage, branded as Explorations by Norwegian, which is scheduled to depart from Civitavecchia in September this year.

The second programme, planned for the 2027–2028 season, is again structured to exceed 360 days at sea and will call at more than 230 ports worldwide. The itinerary introduces several new destinations, including ports in Kenya, the Philippines, Borneo and Taiwan, while additional embarkation and disembarkation points are planned for Dubai, Istanbul and Bali.

The cruise is designed with increased overnight port stays and a flexible booking structure. Passengers will have the option to join the voyage for individual sectors of as little as 10 nights or to remain on board for the full circumnavigation. Among the segments offered are a 28-day Panama Canal transit between Vancouver and New York, a 33-day round-trip itinerary in the Mediterranean and a 54-night European programme marketed as an extensive continental exploration.

Regatta is also scheduled to undertake a complete circumnavigation of Australia, departing from and returning to Sydney during the voyage. The decision to repeat the extended itinerary reflects the strong market response recorded for the inaugural 2026 sailing, which prompted the operator to commit to a second edition of the programme.
