Oceania Cruises has placed Barcelona at the centre of its 2027 collection of Specialty Cruises, a series of voyages combining destination-focused itineraries with onboard experiences centred on gastronomy, culture and history. The programme pairs visits to renowned ports with expert hosts and exclusive events designed to deepen guests' understanding of the regions they explore.
Among the featured sailings is a ten-day Mediterranean voyage aboard Oceania Allura, departing Trieste on November 7th, 2027 and concluding in Barcelona. Throughout the journey, guests will be accompanied by television presenter and travel expert Samantha Brown, who will provide destination insights through presentations, discussions and selected onboard activities, offering additional historical and cultural context at each port of call.
The itinerary has been developed to combine Mediterranean ports with a programme of culinary demonstrations, tastings, themed dinners, lectures and shore excursions. These experiences are intended to introduce travellers to the traditions, regional cuisine and heritage of the destinations visited while complementing the voyage with expert interpretation both ashore and onboard.
In addition to the Mediterranean sailing, Oceania Cruises' 2027 Specialty Cruise collection includes itineraries through the Baltic Sea and Japan, each featuring dedicated hosts and programmes tailored to the history, cuisine and cultural traditions of their respective regions.
