Azamara Cruises has unveiled its 2029 World Cruise Collection, offering 3 extended voyages ranging from 139 to 195 nights and providing multiple ways to undertake a global journey from the South Pacific to Northern Europe.
The collection represents a departure from Azamara’s traditional World Cruise format. The headline itinerary will be a 195-night voyage aboard Azamara Quest, sailing from San Diego to Copenhagen, while two shorter alternatives will cover 179 and 139 nights.
Across the 3 itineraries, the programme will span 5 continents, 40 countries and territories, and 126 ports. Azamara said the collection will allocate 65% of the voyage time to time in port, giving it the highest proportion of destination time among 2029 World Cruises. The full 195-night itinerary will include 16 overnight stays and 60 late-night calls, allowing passengers additional time ashore into the evening.
The 195-night World Cruise will visit 12 maiden ports and provide an extensive route through the South Pacific and Baltic regions, positioned at opposite ends of an itinerary crossing multiple regions of the globe. According to Michael Pawlus, Head of Itinerary Planning at Azamara Cruises, the programme has been designed around longer stays in destinations to give passengers greater opportunity to explore each location.
The two shorter itineraries are intended to provide alternative segments of the global programme. The 179-night voyage from San Diego to London will visit five continents and include 52 late-night calls, 16 overnight stays and 12 maiden ports. The 139-night sailing from Sydney to Copenhagen will also cover 5 continents, with 43 late nights, 11 overnight stays and 4 maiden ports.
The full 195-night World Cruise will open for bookings on September 23rd, 2026, followed by the 179- and 139-night voyages on October 14th. Azamara will release the complete itineraries, details of exclusive events and AzAmazing Evenings, together with additional inclusions, on September 23rd.
