Explora Journeys has announced its first President’s Journey, a 7-night voyage hosted by company President Anna Nash aboard EXPLORA II from December 9th to 16th, 2026. The sailing will operate between Barcelona and Tenerife as part of the cruise line’s A Serene Mediterranean Winter 2026–2027 collection.
Designed around Nash’s interests and approach to hospitality, the itinerary will combine onboard discussions, destination experiences and enrichment activities. The program is intended to bring together returning guests and first-time passengers while providing opportunities to exchange views with the company’s leadership team.
Nash, whose career spans more than two decades in the luxury travel industry, said the initiative would provide an opportunity to engage directly with guests, understand their expectations and gather feedback to inform the future development of the Explora Journeys experience.
The program will include informal meetings with Nash, including morning walks and small-group dinners, alongside discussions involving members of the company’s leadership team. These sessions will focus on guest preferences and the experiences that passengers consider important when planning future voyages.
The itinerary also features dedicated destination experiences in Gibraltar and Casablanca. In Gibraltar, guests will take a scenic drive through the territory, visit its historic World War II tunnels and gain access to The Convent, the official residence of the Governor of Gibraltar.
In Casablanca, an overnight stay will allow additional time to explore the city. The program includes an evening cocktail event at Royal Mansour Casablanca, where guests will have the opportunity to meet Nash in a limited-capacity setting. The following day will be available for independent exploration.
The voyage’s enrichment program will feature several guest speakers, referred to by Explora Journeys as Luminaries. Participants include Lewis Pugh, United Nations Patron of the Ocean and endurance swimmer known for his ocean conservation work; Annabel Croft, former British number-one tennis player and broadcaster; journalist and broadcaster Matt Barbet; and ocean travel destination specialist Gail Packer. Their contributions will cover subjects including ocean conservation, sport, current affairs and destination experiences.
Explora Club members will receive dedicated recognition and priority access to selected activities, alongside limited-capacity events and invitation-only gatherings focused on destinations, wellbeing and culinary experiences.
The President’s Journey forms part of the wider A Serene Mediterranean winter collection, which runs from November 2026 through March 2027. The program includes destinations across Sicily, Tunisia, the Greek Islands, Iberia and the Atlantic coast, with an emphasis on local culture, heritage, gastronomy and craftsmanship. The collection also offers shorter four- and five-night itineraries.
