DCL-Disney Cruise Line has revealed further details of Disney Believe, its next cruise ship, including a new stage adaptation of Disney’s animated film Encanto. The vessel is currently under construction and is scheduled to enter service on December 18th, 2027, becoming the fourth ship in the company’s Wish class.

Bookings for the general public are due to open on October 19th, 2026, while members of Disney’s Castaway Club loyalty programme will have access to earlier reservations from October 12th, depending on their membership status.

Disney Believe will be based at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is scheduled to operate 4- and 5-night cruises to the Bahamas and Caribbean. The itineraries will provide access to Disney’s private island destinations, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. The ship’s deployment forms part of Disney Cruise Line’s wider fleet expansion, with additional vessels planned in the coming years.

The ship’s central design concept focuses on promises, possibilities and characters who overcome challenges through self-belief. Tinker Bell will feature on the bow, while Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story will appear on the stern. The Grand Hall will draw inspiration from the Pacific Islands and the film Moana, featuring a statue of its central character, a large chandelier designed to evoke ocean movement and ceiling lighting incorporating fibre-optic technology.

Entertainment will include the debut of Disney Encanto, developed in collaboration with songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda. The programme will also feature an updated production of Tangled: The Musical, with new sets and effects, alongside Disney Seas the Adventure, which is presented across the Wish class fleet. Another venue, Gazelle, inspired by Zootopia, will offer character encounters with Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps. Additional interactive activities are under development, including an experience featuring the Magic Mirror from Snow White.

Dining options will include Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, a new dinner experience featuring characters from Frozen and musical performances inspired by the film franchise. The ship will also feature 1923, Worlds of Marvel, the adults-only Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement, as well as the Marceline Market buffet and Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods. A Pluto’s Pita Platter will be introduced exclusively on Disney Believe. Additional venues include the Inside Out-inspired sweet shop, Café Kakamora, themed around Moana, and Big Hero Sips, inspired by Big Hero 6.

The ship’s lounge offering will include Wishing Well, inspired by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Sea Notes, a piano bar themed around The Little Mermaid, and Skygazers, an observatory-inspired pub. Other venues will include the Haunted Mansion Parlor and Rose, a lounge based on Beauty and the Beast.

Familiar facilities from the Wish class will also be available, including the AquaMouse water attraction, Hero Zone sports area, Wonderland and Neverland cinemas, Senses Spa and Fitness, and the adults-only Quiet Cove. Children and teenagers will have access to dedicated facilities, including the Oceaneer Club, Edge and Vibe. The ship will also feature a two-storey Tower Suite inspired by Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

Disney Cruise Line has identified further fleet growth as a means of expanding its range of departure dates, cruise durations and holiday options. Disney Believe is part of this expansion, with the company’s next class of cruise ships scheduled to debut in 2029.
