MSC Cruises’ new flagship, MSC World Asia, will feature an Eataly restaurant when the ship begins Mediterranean operations on December 4th, 2026. The venue will be the second location of the Italian culinary brand at sea, following its debut aboard MSC World America.

MSC is currently the only cruise line to offer the Eataly concept onboard.

The restaurant will serve regional Italian specialities and traditional dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients in a contemporary setting inspired by Italy’s culinary heritage. Guests will be able to watch chefs prepare meals at a dedicated show-cooking table, dine on an outdoor terrace overlooking the sea and select wines from a cellar at The Terrace Bar.

MSC's CEO Gianni Onorato said the partnership reflected the company’s focus on food and hospitality. He added that the Eataly concept would provide guests sailing in the Mediterranean with an Italian dining experience featuring a menu that also reflects the cruise line’s international profile.

MSC World Asia will offer 40+ bars, lounges, cafés and restaurants, including venues developed in collaboration with culinary partners.

The ship will operate 7-night Mediterranean itineraries. Several ports will provide embarkation options, giving passengers flexibility when planning their cruises.
