Azamara Cruises has opened bookings for two shorter itineraries within its 2029 World Cruise Collection, adding 179-night and 139-night options to the 195-night World Cruise that became available for booking in September. The three voyages will cover 5 continents and 40 countries and territories, offering different departure and arrival points and varying durations.
The 179-night voyage will depart San Diego on January 3rd, 2029, and conclude in London on July 1st. The 139-night itinerary will sail from Sydney on March 1st and finish in Copenhagen on July 17th. Both cruises will operate aboard Azamara Quest and feature the company’s destination-focused approach, including late-night departures and overnight port stays intended to provide more time ashore.
Azamara Cruises Chief Executive Officer Dondra Ritzenthaler explained that the three options were designed to accommodate different travel preferences while retaining opportunities for extended exploration and in-depth destination experiences.
The 179-night itinerary includes 52 late-night port departures, 16 overnight stays and 12 maiden ports. The 139-night voyage features 43 late nights, 11 overnight stays and four maiden ports. Both itineraries incorporate Azamara’s Destination Immersion philosophy, which emphasises longer stays and opportunities to explore destinations beyond conventional port calls.
The full 195-night World Cruise, sailing from San Diego to Copenhagen, remains the longest of the three options. According to the company, 65% of the voyage will be spent in port, with 60 late-night departures and 16 overnight stays.
Guests booking any of the three World Cruise itineraries will have access to events arranged exclusively for World Cruise passengers. The programme also includes complimentary AzAmazing Evenings and selected Overland Experiences.
Azamara is offering additional benefits across the World Cruise Collection, with a stated value of up to US$44,000. These include luggage shipping, bonus onboard credit, a premium beverage package and unlimited wash-and-fold laundry, among other benefits.
