Passenger Medevaced From Carnival Pride

A 52-year-old man has been medevacked from Carnival Pride 50 mi east of St Augustine early this morning after experiencing symptoms of shock, according to Coast Guard.

The Coast Guard revealed the Jacksonville Command Center had received notification about the Carnival passenger at 11:15 p.m. on Friday and MH-60 helicopter crew had arrived on the scene at 1:40 a.m. on Saturday.

The man has been taken to UF Health Shands Hospital in Jacksonville. An update on his condition has not been given.
