Cruise Passenger Medevaced From Carnival Ship

A 69-year-old woman was medevaced from a Carnival cruise ship Wednesday morning after showing signs of heart attack, according to the U.S.C.G.

Guardsmen boarded the vessel about 69 miles from Bahamas. The passenger was flown to Miami FL and then taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

According to the U.S.C.G. watch standers with the 7th District Command Center received a call from Carnival Pride at approx 12:30 a.m. stating the lady was experiencing heart attack symptoms and had to be medevaced.
