Festively decorated cruise ships, the “Happy New Year” live concert by AIDA Show Ensemble, great shows, and unforgettable party will make the turn of the year into a special night full of surprises aboard the fleet of AIDA Cruises.
All of this will be happening around the globe in 7 time zones from Caribbean to Canaries, and from Mediterranean to Southeast Asia.
Passengers aboard AIDAcara will be first to welcome in 2018. During the first AIDA world voyage, on New Year’s Eve the vessel will be north of Australia, a whole 7 hours ahead of Central European Time (CET), and guests will be toasting New Year at 5:00 p.m. CET.
In accordance with old maritime tradition, the New Year will be welcomed in with 4 double-stroke rolls of the drum.
