Saga Cruises new ship Spirit of Discovery is due to make her first Atlantic crossing just in time for passengers to celebrate 2019 Christmas on the other side of ‘The Pond’.

This 35-night epic cruise starts from home with line’s door-to-door chauffeur service transporting guests to Southampton UK on December 5, 2019 where Spirit of Discovery begins with featured visits in the Caribbean, Bermuda and America.

In America, the 999-passenger vessel sails along the east coast from Key West to Miami and Cape Canaveral FL, while in the Caribbean, travellers can try the tram into Harrison’s Cave, Barbados and spot Dominica's exotic birdlife.

There are a couple of overnight moorings, the first of which is in New York to see its iconic streets decked ready with Christmas lights, followed by Bermuda to welcome the New Year.

The stylish ship, all in festive decorations, offers a Christmas to remember with delicious cuisine and entertainment including Latin music by local performers and music from steel bands.

Guests can rehearse and perform in Broadway-style show onboard Spirit of Discovery as the ship sails across the Atlantic.
