MSC Cruises announced it became an official global cruise partner of Chelsea Football Club. Swiss-based MSC is the largest privately owned cruise company in the world and joins Chelsea's official partners in January 2019. The cruise line will feature on LED advertising at Stamford Bridge as MSC prepare to launch the new flagship, MSC Bellissima, in March.
Representatives from the club are due to attend the christening ceremony early 2019. Chelsea memorabilia will be available to see onboard.
CEO of MSC Cruises, Gianni Onorato, said it was an exciting opportunity to be working with the highly successful Chelsea FC. He added it was part of MSC Cruises’ strategic focus on UK and Ireland, with both markets being a key part of the next phase of their global growth plan.
