Genting Cruise Lines unveiled the design and concept behind the new artwork which is due to adorn the hull of Explorer Dream (formerly SuperStar Virgo), currently undergoing an upgrade before her launch later in March.
The new hull artwork by NY-based Chinese artist Kuri Huang continues the signature mermaid brand icon made famous by sisterships World Dream and Genting Dream.
The artistic narrative of the hull art tells the tale of a mermaid who yearns to travel beyond the ocean's confines to a realm above the water. With the help of the sea god, she is able to realize her dream of experiencing exotic cultures and discovering new lands while retaining her link to the seven seas.
