Vasco da Gama Joins the CMV Fleet

CMV-Cruise & Maritime Voyages announced the arrival of the latest addition to their fleet, Vasco da Gama, in Singapore on April 5, 2019 (arriving for a drydock renovation). Vasco da Gama is the 6th ship to join the fleet of CMV as they celebrate ten years in operation. Her maiden voyage departs from Singapore via India to London-Tilbury on April 22.

The 55,820 GT can accommodate up to 1,220 passengers in a total of 630 staterooms including 29 suites and 120 Balcony cabins. Following the fleet's explorer theme, the ship is named after the famous Portuguese explorer, Vasco da Gama, popular for being the first European who reached India by sea.

CMV Vasco da Gama will spend the summer season cruising from Germany. The vessel will set sail from London Tilbury on October 9 on a 53-night cruise to Australia visiting Barbados, Panama Canal, Acapulco, South Pacific islands, Auckland and Sydney. Vasco da Gama will stay in Australia for the winter season.
