In 2020, Crystal Cruises will celebrate its 30th anniversary. The year-long celebration is expected to include special events and commemorative gifts onboard its vessels along with the gift of savings.
Crystal, which launched for the first time on July 24, 1990, when Crystal Harmony departed from San Francisco on a 12-day inaugural cruise to Alaska, pioneered the luxury cruise industry and set the stage for 3 decades of award-winning experiences.
Crystal Cruises has designated 30 sailings that are spanning its 4 brand experiences: Crystal Yacht Cruises, Crystal Expedition Cruises, Crystal River Cruises, and Crystal Cruises, for special 30th Anniversary savings next year.
Crystal Society members will benefit from double their regular savings (totaling 5%) while new-to-Crystal passengers will enjoy 2% savings on the select cruises. The savings are in addition to 2-for-1 prices and Crystal’s compelling Book Now Savings, that rewards travelers who book early with up to US$5,000 per suite. To take advantage of the special offers, bookings for the line's “30th Anniversary Collection” have to be made by June 30, 2019.
The “30th Anniversary Collection” offers sailings around the world ranging from 7 to 16 nights throughout 2020:
- Crystal Yacht Cruises, 4 sailings: Adriatic, Mediterranean, Arabian Peninsula, and Seychelles
- Crystal Expedition Cruises, 1 sailing: South Pacific
- Crystal River Cruises, 5 sailings: Rhine & Danube rivers
- Crystal Cruises, 20 sailings: Mexican Riviera, Northern Europe, Mediterranean, New England & Canada, Middle East & India, Asia, and the Caribbean.
All passengers booked on the selected voyages will enjoy special events celebrating the milestone and receive gifts such as Crystal’s 30th Anniversary Cookbook with specialties from Crystal’s menus, a commemorative 30th Anniversary pin, wine stopper, personalized luggage tags.
