Norwegian Cruise Line Introduces Songwriter Sailings to Alaska

   July 28, 2019 ,   Cruise Industry

Cruise tourists now can combine their vacation with the opportunity to meet music idols in a series of brand new routes scheduled by NCL-Norwegian Cruise Line. NCL’s fleet of 16 vessels will host exclusive songwriter voyages (music-themed cruises) and the release of never heard tracks as part of a new free The Beat program.

NCL is requesting artists develop specifically created content that can only be heard by passengers as part of a series of onboard initiatives. The curated content will additionally form the global music library of the brand.

Multi-platinum recording artist, songwriter, and singer of Good to be Alive (Hallelujah), Andy Grammer, will host the first Norwegian songwriters sailing.

Norwegian Joy cruise ship

Songwriters will be invited on Norwegian Joy on a 7-day cruise to Alaska from Seattle WA. They'll then create tuneful content that is inspired by world-class destinations the ship visits.
