Emerald Waterways’ new Star-Ship class riverboat set sail through Vietnam and Cambodia along the Mekong River (Southeast Asia).
Emerald Harmony accommodates just 84 passengers in 42 staterooms. The line's first self-built Star-Ship provides spacious suites and public areas including the Sun and Pool decks, a wellness area with spa, Reflections Restaurant, and the Horizon Bar & Lounge. Exclusive to Emerald Harmony is the ship's Lotus Lounge, an area to watch the horizons and relax after a day exploring.
In a move that is set to replicate across the European fleet, Emerald Harmony became the first Star-Ship removing all single-use plastic. Guests are provided with a complementary metal water bottle which they can refill from water stations onboard the Star-Ship. Other initiatives include glass water bottles in all staterooms, using paper and bamboo straws in Reflections Restaurant & Horizon Bar. Cabin toiletry miniatures are replaced with refillable dispensers.
Passengers can enjoy Emerald Waterways’ Vietnam and Cambodia cruising experience on company's newest riverboat during the season. The 19-day Treasures & Temples of Vietnam & Cambodia river cruises with Emerald Harmony include the October 5, 2019 sailing for GBP 5,195 per person. Passengers begin their trip in Hanoi, then travel along to Halong Bay, prior to joining Mekong River via My Tho, Sa Dec and ending in Siem Reap, Cambodia, before the return flight.
