VIDEO: P&O Flagship Iona Floated Out at Meyer Werft Shipyard

P&O Cruises newbuild Iona left the covered building dock II at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany on February 14. The 184,000 GT-ton new liner has length 345 m and passenger capacity 5200 (lower berths).

After leaving drydock, the vessel was berthed at the shipyard’s outfitting pier for funnel cladding. Iona remained in the shipyard port for further outfitting and onboard trials until the passage through Ems River up to the North Sea, expected to take place at the end of March.
