After the forced shutdown due to the pandemic, several cruise ships will soon resume regular services.

AIDA Cruises, TUI Cruises and AQSC-American Queen Steamboat Company (USA) will take advantage of special software features from MarineXchange - the provider of the only enterprise platform for the industry and leader for cruise-specific mobile enterprise solutions.

The current priorities of the cruise shipping companies include contactless processes for POS (point-of-sale) and tours, passenger capacity control, biometric technologies, logging of rapid testing and temperature measurements, special reporting, auto-notifications, contact tracing. The recently released MXP Protect suite provides companies with all those features.

According to Johannes Lindthaler (MarineXchange's Managing Director), thanks to the modular design of the MXP platform, they were able to make MXP Protect available to their customers in record time.

Licenses for thermal imaging and facial recognition software solutions are available for free to all cruise companies.
