France's Government will reimburse EUR 30 million (USD 35,5 million) in payroll costs to French ferry shipping companies that were severely hit by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis and Brexit, Prime Minister Jean Castex told parliament.

Passenger shipping companies have suffered from lower traffic to/from Britain because of quarantine measures and uncertainty around the exit of the country from the European Union.
