Royal Caribbean Group extends its Cruise with Confidence program

   October 2, 2020 ,   Cruise Industry

RCCL-Royal Caribbean Group announced the extension of its "Cruise with Confidence" booking program.

For all bookings made by November 30, 2020, passengers can cancel the voyage up to 48 hours prior departure and receive a full FCC (future cruise credit) of the price paid. The FCC can be used through April 2022 and May 4, 2022 (for Celebrity Cruises).

The company will also continue to offer its “Best Price Guarantee” and “Lift and Shift.”

  • “Best Price Guarantee”: Passengers can choose to change the price and promotional offer on their reservation up to 48 hours prior to their voyage.
  • “Lift and Shift”: The option is ideal for those passengers wishing to move their cruise vacation plans to next year. Eligible through November 30, 2020, passengers can protect the original cruise fare and promotional offering via shifting to a future trip on the same itinerary type, length, stateroom category, and within the same four-week period of their original sailing date same-time-next-year. Bookings for next year’s sail dates may shift to 2022 only on current deployment open through April 30, 2022 (April 5, 2022, for Celebrity).

In addition to easing concerns of booked passengers, the policy enhances customer confidence to schedule new bookings, knowing that last-minute travel adjustments are allowed.

The program applies to all voyages with dates on/before April 2022 and across all RCCL-owned brands, including Azamara and RCI-Royal Caribbean International. For Celebrity, the extension applies to voyages before May 4, 2020.
