Due to the travel uncertainties and with regard to COVID restrictions in the coming weeks, Costa Cruises decided to cancel all departures planned between January 7 and January 31.

Moreover, the company will resume operations on January 31 with Costa Deliziosa, which will offer passengers the chance to visit the most beautiful Italian spots with the same itinerary originally planned for Smeralda, with mini-cruises of 3 and 4 days, in addition to the week-long program.

Costa Crociere applied these changes to its itinerary programs, with the aim of preserving the best possible travel experience for its customers.

The decision to operate Costa Deliziosa will allow itinerary flexibility to respond to any changes in the local COVID scenario while maintaining a unique cruise experience onboard one of the most welcoming ships of the Costa fleet.

Costa Smeralda will pause for a few weeks. New plans for the liner will be announced shortly.

Costa is now contacting its customers to communicate the changes.
