Hamina in Finland joins Cruise Baltic network

Cruise Baltic announced Hamina Finland as the latest partner to join the cruise network.

The new partner brings the number of cruise ports and destinations to a total of 31, which is the highest number ever.

The latest Cruise Baltic's member port is on the Finnish coastline, approx 145 km east of Helsinki. Hamina has a central location in the Gulf of Finland and is an easy-to-reach destination for Baltic Sea cruises.

Hamina shares Port Hamina-Kotka with Kotka City, which is also a Cruise Baltic partner. Port Hamina-Kotka is at short cruising distance from Helsinki (up the coast) and a short drive from Kotka.

Besides its beauty, the main attraction in Hamina is adventures in nature. Travellers can follow trails in nature or go white water rafting. The town has several historical sights to see like churches, the 1798 Town Hall, and Hamina Fortress, a unique star fort constructed in the 18th century.

Hamina is the 31st partner to join Cruise Baltic and the 6th Finnish destination in the network.

Cruise Baltic was established in 2004 and currently includes 31 destinations and ports in the Baltic Sea Region. The network provides easy access, high standards, and integration between cities and ports throughout the region.
