Phoenix Reisen christens 2 new riverboats

Phoenix Reisen (Bonn Germany) christened a pair of new river cruise ships on July 5th.

On the banks of the Rhine (in Cologne/Koln Germany), Godmother Barbara Weyden, who has worked at the company for ~40 years, together with captains Hermann Schuster and Marco van Gent, sent MS Annika on her maiden voyage.

In the future, the riverboat will be sailing on Rhine and Danube.

On Saone River (In Chalon France), Godmother Uta Worms, a loyal regular customer of Phoenix Reisen for 15+ years, christened MS Annabelle, which will make her first voyages under the command of Captain Michael Fouquet on Rhone and Saone.

Annika and Annabelle are both owned by the Swiss shipping company Scylla AG and operated by Phoenix Reisen under long-term charters. The premium-class boats impress with 4 decks and spacious staterooms. Onboard, a maximum of 180 passengers are accommodated in 90 outside cabins, 74 of which are with French balconies.
