Emerald Waterways Unveils Plans for New Ship on Mekong River

In 2019, Emerald Waterways adds to its fleet of Star-Ships a new vessel sailing on Mekong River.

The 73-metre Emerald Harmony, line’s 8th Star-Ship, will offer 3 itineraries in 2019, including: Majestic Mekong River Cruise; Grand Tour of Vietnam & Cambodia; and Treasures & Temples of Vietnam & Cambodia, once it is built.

The first sailing on Emerald Harmony is the 21-night Grand Tour of Vietnam & Cambodia cruise and tour, departing August 20, 2019. Stop-offs on the Grand Tour river cruise itinerary feature Halong Bay, Hue and Hoi An.

Guests finish the itinerary with 3 nights in Siem Reap where they'll be able to attend Phare Cambodian Circus as well as visit Angkor Wat.

Emerald Harmony is due to become the first ship in the fleet to boast the Lotus Lounge. Situated at the front of ship's Vista deck, it will serve tea, coffee and snacks throughout the day.

Just like other Star-Ships, 84-passenger Emerald Harmony features 2 Owner’s Suites, 4 Grand Balcony Suites, 32 Panorama Balcony Suites and 4 Emerald Staterooms, each with a hot tub and wrap-around terrace.
