In September 2013, the Viking longship Forseti was reported two times for ship collisions on Danube River. The incidents resulted in ~18-hour cruise delays.

The boat first hit the stern of another vessel while entering a lock (on the itinerary's Day 4). Followed a second collision with another ship. Viking River Cruises officially confirmed "two minor collisions". No injuries were reported. Due to delays and the following inspection, the itinerary was modified.
