In December 2020, due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis, the company Viking Ocean canceled a total of 8x Viking Venus cruises - departures scheduled between January 26 and April 19, 2021.

The canceled voyages were originally planned to depart on:

  • (January 6) 7-day from Barcelona to London ($2500 pp)
  • (February 2) 12-day from London to Bergen ($5000 pp)
  • (February 14) 12-day from Bergen to London ($5000 pp)
  • (February 26) 12-day from London to Bergen ($5000 pp)
  • (March 10) 12-day from Bergen to London ($5000 pp)
  • (March 22) 14-day from London to Bergen ($5000 pp)
  • (April 5) 14-day from Bergen to London ($6300 pp)
  • (April 19) 14-day from London to Bergen ($6500 pp)

The maiden voyage was rescheduled for May 3 (14-day from Bergen to Stockholm, $6000 pp).

In mid-February 2021 were canceled 4 more Northern European itineraries from the ship's inaugural season.

  • (May 3) 14-day from Bergen to Stockholm ($6200)
  • (May 17) 14-day from Stockholm to Bergen ($6400)
  • (May 31) 14-day from Bergen to London ($7500)

The maiden voyage was rescheduled for June 14 (14-day from London to Bergen, $7000 pp with double occupancy).
