Ambition cabins and suites

Of all Ambassador Ambition/AIDAmira cabins, only 17% feature private balconies. There are 2 wheelchair-accessible staterooms. The ship offers 96 Suites (80 with balconies), 90 Balcony cabins, 217 Oceanview cabins, and 223 Inside cabins. There are no connecting, Spa, or Single cabins. The total number of cabin categories is 9.

AIDAmira Suites feature en-suite bathrooms with a full-size bathtub, separate shower, toilet, sink, bathrobes and slippers, and luxury bath products. The bedroom offers twin beds (convertible to a queen), one sofabed, and a pillow menu with five options. Guests receive a welcome package that includes fresh fruit, fine chocolates, and champagne. Additional perks include a three-course Welcome Dinner at Rossini, in-room breakfast (upon request from Rossini’s à la carte menu), complimentary use of Wellness facilities on disembarkation day, express services (laundry, luggage, shoeshine), turndown concierge room service, iPod docking stations, and Nintendo Wii gaming consoles.

Balcony cabins feature twin beds (convertible to queen) and a seating area with a low table and two armchairs.

Oceanview and Inside cabins include either separate or convertible-to-queen twin beds, a sofa and/or an upper bunk bed. All Oceanview cabins are fitted with a large porthole window.

All staterooms are equipped with a wardrobe, mirrored vanity table with chair, low table with armchairs (excluding the smallest cabins), private bathroom (toilet, shower stall, single-sink vanity, hairdryer, bath products), electronic safe, lifejackets (stored in the closet), direct-dial phone with baby monitoring option, smart HDTV, and individual air conditioning.

All Costa neoRiviera cabins feature a sleeping area with twin beds (convertible to queen) and bedside tables with lamps, a living/lounge area with seating, vanity, desk, and a closet with drawers. Standard amenities include a flat-screen TV (with infotainment and satellite reception), direct-dial phone, safe, hairdryer, private bathroom (toilet and shower cubicle), mini-bar/fridge, individual air conditioning, complimentary 24-hour room service, and complimentary in-room Continental breakfast. Most cabins and suites also include a single or double sofa bed or Pullman/bunk beds to accommodate a third or fourth guest.

The largest Suites fall under the GS-Grand and PS-Panorama categories. These are similar in size and layout, each featuring a step-out private veranda with loungers, chairs, and a table, a large luxury bathroom with a separate shower and whirlpool bathtub, toilet, dual sinks, and a spacious living area with a double sofa bed and loveseat. Both Suite types have wrap-around balconies with either aft-starboard or aft-portside views.

Suite guests enjoy bonus amenities such as in-room dining (sparkling wine, daily canapés, fresh fruit), VIP/priority services (check-in, embarkation/disembarkation, tendering, dining reservations, invitations to the Captain’s cocktail party), a pillow menu, cotton robes, slippers, butler service (packing/unpacking), upgraded bath products, and a complimentary specialty restaurant dinner for two.

Mini-Suites differ from Balcony cabins only in size and the presence of a separate sleeping area.

All Suites and Balcony cabins feature sliding glass doors opening to a private veranda furnished with a small table and patio chairs, and Suites additionally have sun loungers. The indoor lounge area includes additional bedding via a double sofabed for a third or fourth guest.

Oceanview cabins have a large non-opening picture window, while Inside cabins do not have any windows. Both cabin types may offer additional bedding via upper/Pullman beds for third or fourth guests.
