Baranof Dream cabins review
MV Baranof Dream staterooms are available in five categories, with sizes ranging from 85 to 115 ft² (8–11 m²). All cabins feature hotel-style beds (either two fixed twins or one queen), a small closet-style cabinet with wooden hangers and a full-size mirrored door, large opening picture windows, and under-bed storage with built-in drawers. There are no in-cabin TVs, Wi-Fi, or phones—even in the suites. Many staterooms are in the "family" category, accommodating three or four passengers.
- Deck 2 (Main) cabins are located between the Explorers Lounge and the Baranof Dining Room. These cabins include extra drawer storage.
- On Deck 3 (Upper) and Deck 4 (Bridge), all staterooms have windows and entry doors facing an outdoor promenade deck (passageway), allowing passersby to see into the cabins.
- All in-cabin bathrooms are compact and include a shower and toilet, separated by a plastic curtain.
Standard amenities in all MV Baranof Dream staterooms (regardless of category) include two high-powered binoculars (per cabin, for use during the cruise), a hairdryer, fan, soft linens, duvets, and towels. The bath products—soap, shampoo, and body wash—are made in Alaska by the Sitka-based company Winter Song.
