MS Tikhi Don cabins review

MS Tikhi Don (Alexander Borodin) has a total of 110 cabins (for 220 passengers), including 6 suites, 34 deluxe cabins and 70 twins. The ship does not have triple or single cabins available for booking. All staterooms are outside (no interior cabins) and feature large opening windows. Cabin ceiling height is 2.2 m. All staff and crew accommodations (with round, non-opening portholes), along with 10 triple-occupancy passenger cabins (currently not bookable), are located on the Lower Deck.

Follows a review of MS Alexander Borodin staterooms, including furniture, price-included amenities and complimentary services:

  • Hotel beds (2 x 1.6 m), with optional twin-bed configuration (twin beds 2 x 0.8 m), under-bed suitcase storage, wardrobe with hangers, mirrored vanity table (writing desk with padded stool), round table with two armchairs, bedside cabinets with reading lamps, 220V power sockets, plush bedding and LED lighting.
  • En-suite bathroom (WC, washbasin, glass-door shower, hairdryer, towels, bath products); bathrobes and slippers are available upon request.
  • Telephone (direct dial, onboard communication only), mini-refrigerator, radio, electronic safe (in the closet), flat HDTV (local and satellite reception, infotainment system). Suites additionally feature a lounge cabinet, coffee table, armchairs, double bed and floor lamps.
  • Central air-conditioning (individually thermostat-controlled heating and ventilation).
  • Complimentary ironing room, laundry service (no dry-cleaning and no self-service laundromats onboard) and shipwide Wi-Fi internet.
