Ocean Albatros cabins review

Follows a review of Ocean Albatros cruise ship cabins, including amenities, furnishings, and included (complimentary) services.

All staterooms are outside accommodations, featuring either a step-out balcony, a French balcony, or Porthole windows.

Most staterooms (80% of all, except Deck 3 cabins with Portholes) have a private step-out balcony accessible from the living area via a sliding, floor-to-ceiling glass door. Each balcony is furnished with a small table and two deck chairs. Sixty percent of all cabins support triple occupancy, accommodating a third guest on a pull-out couch/sofabed.

Standard amenities include hotel beds (King-size or two twin beds, 200 x 160 cm, with ample under-bed storage for suitcases), a sofabed, bedside cabinets, a mirrored vanity (writing desk/dressing table) with chair, built-in dressers with drawers, a mini-bar/refrigerator, a 42-inch flat HDTV (local and satellite channels), a phone (onboard communication only), a digital clock/alarm, a seating area (small table with one or two armchairs), a spacious wardrobe (closet with hangers, drawers, electronic safe), individual climate control, and a medical emergency button.

Each stateroom has a private, full-size bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, and premium bath amenities.

The ship’s suites are offered in three categories: CS-Captain’s, JS-Junior, and BS-Balcony. These are the largest accommodations on board, featuring double-size balconies and additional amenities such as in-room dining service (continental breakfast served on the balcony).

Ocean Albatros has a total of 20 pairs of connecting balcony cabins that may be booked together as a single stateroom for up to six guests, ideal for families. There are no wheelchair-accessible cabins for passengers with disabilities.

Unlike her sisterships, Ocean Albatros features a Double-Bedroom Family Suite (two interconnecting French Balcony cabins on Deck 7) accommodating up to five guests.
