Scenic Aura cabins review

All Scenic Aura cabins are categorized as Suites. Each stateroom features a private (step-out) balcony designed for all-weather use. These accommodations are among the largest currently available on Mekong River cruise ships. The number of cabin categories is 7 (maximum capacity 2 guests per cabin).

Below is a review of Scenic Aura staterooms, including furniture, price-included amenities, and complimentary services:

All Scenic Aura staterooms feature superior queen-size beds with luxury bedding sets, bedside tables, and a luxury en-suite bathroom (WC, sink, shower cubicle, lighted mirror, color lighting system). Additional amenities include luxury bath products (shampoo, liquid soap, conditioner, body lotion), hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, sliding-door walk-in closet (hangers, drawers, shelves), smart HDTV (infotainment system with “View From the Bridge” real-time webcam views), radio, safe, leather chair, mini-bar (complimentary and restocked daily with soda, juice, sparkling water, liqueur, snacks), iPod station (clock), umbrella, individual climate control, and 220V power outlets (European/Australian sockets only; American guests require adapters).

All cabin categories feature floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening to a full-size veranda (down-slide-opening French balcony) furnished with a round table and wicker chairs. All cabin bathrooms include large glass-enclosed showers with doors.

The two Royal Panorama Suites (located on Deck 4 at the bow) are the largest accommodations on the Aura ship. They feature floor-to-ceiling windows, a separate large lounge area (mini-bar, sofa, armchair, TV) connected via sliding doors to a separate bedroom (queen bed, vanity desk, chair), a luxury bathroom (separate shower, bathtub, WC, and two sinks), a dressing room (with two wardrobes), and a spacious forward-facing balcony (with whirlpool, daybed, sun loungers, and an al fresco dining set with table and chairs).

Grand Suites feature a separate sitting area (sofa, table, armchair, vanity desk with chair) connected via sliding doors to a private balcony (table and two chairs), a bedroom (queen bed, armchair, table), a spacious walk-in wardrobe (mini-bar), and a bathroom (sink, separate bathtub and shower, mirrored cabinets).

Each Deluxe Suite includes a separate bedroom (queen bed), bathroom (WC, vanity sink, shower), spacious walk-in closet, and a lounge area (sofa, vanity/dressing table with chair, TV, mini-bar, round table with one chair) connected via sliding doors to a private veranda (furnished with a table and two chairs).

All Deluxe Suite categories feature a special type of balcony known as a “Sun Lounge”. This glass-enclosed area (part of the cabin) includes comfortable seating and is located behind floor-to-ceiling opening windows. Behind the windows are sheers and blackout curtains. The cabin’s “sun lounge” area can easily transform into an outdoor veranda at the push of a button.

You can see all furniture details on Scenic Tours Scenic Aura cabin plans in the table above.

Complimentary butler service is available to all passengers. It includes shoeshine service, shore excursion arrangements, spa reservations, and drinks service.

Royal Panorama Suite guests additionally receive luggage unpacking and repacking, complimentary laundry and pressing, and in-room dining service.

Cabin service is provided twice daily.
