Viking Sol cabins and suites

Of all Viking Sol cabins, 70% feature a private balcony. Suite accommodations include two separate rooms—a living room (with a private step-out balcony) and a separate bedroom (with a French balcony). There are 8 cabin categories in total (maximum capacity of 2 guests per cabin).

All staterooms feature hotel-style beds (79 x 63 inches / 200 x 160 cm, convertible to twins, with ample under-bed space for suitcases), a sliding-door closet (with wooden hangers), dimmable lighting, and a private en-suite bathroom (glass-door shower, hairdryer, “L’Occitane” premium bath products, bathrobe and slippers upon request). Additional amenities include a telephone, mini-fridge, personal safe, 40-inch HDTV (with news channels such as CNN, FOX, CNBC, as well as NG, MGM, Sky Cinema, movies on demand, and “View From the Bridge” real-time webcam views), individual air-conditioning, and 220V / 110V outlets.

French Balcony cabins, Veranda Staterooms, and all Suites are equipped with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors. Balcony cabins in categories A and B feature electronically controlled blinds and outdoor furniture on a private veranda (small round table with two chairs).

Both Standard Cabin categories (E and F) are located at water level on the Main Deck. Instead of a veranda or French balcony, they have half-height, non-opening picture windows positioned near the ceiling.
