ms La Belle des Oceans cabins review

MS La Belle des Oceans cabins (formerly Silver Discoverer, sold to CroisiEurope in 2019) are all suite categories. As typical for a Silversea vessel, all passenger staterooms are located in the forward section, while public areas are positioned midship and aft. There are five cabin categories in total.

Nearly all Silver Discoverer suites (53 of 62 total) feature large windows, while only nine have step-out balconies (categories VE–Veranda and ME–Medallion). Window suites are located on decks 3, 4, and 5, and all balcony suites are situated on deck 6. The ship does not have wheelchair-accessible or connecting cabins. Most suites accommodate two guests, while only five (balcony suites 601, 602, 603, 604, and 610) can accommodate a third guest with a convertible sofa bed.

Each suite includes the following complimentary amenities:

  • Living area with comfortable seating (three-seater sofa, armchairs, coffee table convertible to dining table)
  • Sleeping area with a Queen-size bed (convertible to twins), luxury mattresses, bedding sets, duvets, pillow menu, leather headboard, bedside tables, wall-mounted reading lamps, interactive HDTV (satellite reception, infotainment system with Internet, on-demand movies, live camera views), and a high-quality sound system
  • Large wardrobe (sliding doors with shelves and drawers), mirrored vanity desk with chair
  • Mini-bar (stocked with complimentary beverages), electronic safe (in the closet), direct-dial phone (intercom), 110/220V outlets, USB ports, binoculars, personalized stationery, and individually controlled air conditioning
  • Marble bathroom with WC, glass-enclosed shower with rain showerhead, single-sink vanity, plush bathrobes, slippers, towels, hairdryer, magnifying mirror, and premium bath products
  • CroisiEurope guests can choose bath amenities from premium brands such as Bvlgari, Neutrogena, or Ferragamo.

Personal butler service includes dinner and spa reservations, 24-hour in-suite dining, mini-bar restocking, laundry, shoeshine, and packing/unpacking assistance. Wi-Fi is available throughout the ship. Suites are serviced daily with evening turndown service.

The ship’s largest accommodation is the Medallion Suite (36 m² including the balcony), located forward on Deck 6 (port side). This two-room suite features a separate bedroom and living area. The remaining eight balcony suites are Veranda Suites, also located forward on Deck 6. Four Vista Suites are located aft on the same deck, each with two large windows offering partially obstructed views due to the lifeboats.

View Suites (on decks 4 and 5) each have one non-opening window, while Explorer Suites (on deck 3) feature two non-opening portholes.
