MS Crucestar (built in 2000, last refurbished in 2018) was previously owned by Viking River Cruises (2000–2006 as “Viking Rhone,” and 2006–2010 as “Viking Seine”). Since 2010, the vessel has been owned by Premicon AG and operated under various charters: “Spirit of Caledonia” (2010–2011), “Regina Rheni” (2011–2018), and “Crucestar” (2019–2025). The ship is currently chartered by Crucemundo.
The MS Crucestar deck plan shows a total of 77 staterooms accommodating up to 154 passengers, served by 40 crew members. The ship has four passenger decks (three with cabins), an aft-located dining room restaurant, a forward bar lounge, a library, and a lobby area with a reception desk and gift shop. Other facilities include a Promenade Deck and a Sun Deck featuring the wheelhouse, sunbathing area with whirlpool, deckchairs, loungers, shaded seating areas with awnings, four-seat tables, and a deck games area with a giant chess set.
The vessel has no elevator, wellness facilities (spa, massage room, hair salon, sauna, or gym), or swimming pool.
