MS Esplanade (built 2010) is one of the top-luxury Nile River cruisers/hotel ships in Egypt. Esplanade cruise ship deck plan has a total of 67 staterooms for 140 passengers served by 70 crew/staff (all English-speaking). The ship features 5 passenger decks, spacious Sun Deck (outdoor lounge, shaded seating, cabanas, swimming pool, jacuzzi), restaurant, lounge, 2 bars, Gym, Spa, Sauna. This riverboat has no laundrette (self-service laundry facility) and elevators. Fleetmates are the sisterships Mayfair (2010) and Mayflower (2019).
Ship’s dress code allows swimsuits, shorts and tank tops only on the sun deck. Ashore, women must cover themselves with a scarf (draped over the arms) and to avoid above the knee skirts. Bringing comfortable shoes is recommendable for land tours.
