Review of MS Junker Jorg deck 2 (Upper)

Viking Lounge & Bar (observation lounge with dance floor and own bar with stools). The Fontane Lounge has large panoramic windows (not floor-ceiling), a large sitting area, self-service 24-hour open Tea & Coffee corner (complimentary, with a fruit basket, sparkling water, pastries, cookies). Entertainment options here are live grand piano performances by a resident pianist, quizzes, cocktail hour (nightly), crew shows, live band folk music or classical music dancing (on themed nights), cooking demonstrations, watching movies (on a drop-down screen). Depending on the visited port cities and towns along the Viking Fontane itinerary, this lounge also hosts land tours-, culture- and history related lectures and multimedia presentations. Special activities here are the tastings (local delicacies, wines, cheeses, liqueurs, etc). There is staircase access to the Restaurant on Main Deck 1. The Lounge also is an alternative Breakfast place – with a waiter-service buffet with salads, soups, hot dishes, sandwiches, desserts.

The Fontane’s Observation Lounge also serves as a Library (with 80+ books in different languages, magazines, playing cards, board games- chess, playing cards, backgammon).

Viking Fontane ship’s Atrium Lobby has Reception (guest services desk – information, assistance), Land Excursions & Tours Director Desk (daily program’s activities information), Public Restrooms.

Boutique Shop in the Atrium sells magazines, gifts and souvenirs, convenience goods.

Cabins from 200 to 225, of which 18x Standard Staterooms (category A), and 8x French Balcony rooms (category AX).
