MS Leonora (built in 2008 as "Avalon Scenery") was the first vessel in the "2-Suite" series of Avalon Waterways cruise ships, along with the riverboat Avalon Creativity. Creativity and Scenery were among Avalon's oldest vessels, both operated under charter agreements. In 2017, Avalon Scenery was sold to "HTL Cruises," a travel company based in Arnhem, Holland, and was renamed "MS Leonora."
The MS Avalon Scenery (now MS Leonora) deck plan includes a total of 70 staterooms accommodating 140 passengers, served by 39 crew and staff. The ship features 4 passenger decks, 3 lounges, 2 bars, 1 restaurant, an outdoor jacuzzi (whirlpool) on the Sun Deck, and 1 elevator. There is no medical facility or resident doctor on board. Public areas are spacious, with all venues on Decks 2 and 3 featuring floor-to-ceiling windows.
