Arosa Clea (built in 2009 as "Avalon Creativity," formerly "Monarch Princess") was the second and final vessel in Avalon Waterways' "2-Suite" series, alongside her sistership Avalon Scenery (now MS Leonora). Creativity and Scenery were the oldest vessels in the Avalon fleet.
The MS Avalon Creativity cruise ship features a deck plan with 70 staterooms, accommodating up to 140 passengers and served by 39 crew/staff members. The vessel has 4 passenger decks, 3 lounges, 2 bars, 1 restaurant, 1 jacuzzi (an outdoor whirlpool on the Sun Deck), 1 elevator, and no medical facility or resident doctor onboard.
The ship’s public areas are notably spacious, with all venues on Decks 2 and 3 featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that provide panoramic views.
Until 2019, the vessel operated under the name "Avalon Creativity" and was chartered by Avalon Waterways. Since 2019, the ship has been chartered by the tour company Gate 1 Travel and renamed "Monarch Princess." Gate 1 Travel’s river cruise fleet also includes other former Avalon ships such as Monarch Countess (Felicity), Monarch Governess (Affinity), and Monarch Duchess/VistaNeo (Luminary). Avalon Creativity’s sistership, Avalon Scenery, was sold to HTL Cruises and renamed MS Leonora.
