Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities
MS VistaNeo deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2025-2026-2027 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by 1AVista Reisen (River Cruises) deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the MS VistaNeo cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on MS VistaNeo staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
MS VistaNeo (2010-built as “Avalon Luminary,” fka “Monarch Duchess”) is the last of three identical-class, 138-passenger inland vessels built for Avalon Waterways, together with Avalon Affinity and Avalon Felicity/Monarch Countess. These were Avalon's smallest riverboats by passenger capacity. Since 2019, the vessels have been chartered by the US tour company Gate 1 Travel.
The VistaNeo deck plan shows a total of 65 staterooms for 138 passengers, served by 39 crew and staff. The ship has 4 passenger decks (3 cabin decks), 3 lounges, 2 bars, 1 restaurant, and 1 elevator, and it has no onboard medical facility or resident doctor. The Sun Deck features a jacuzzi (outdoor whirlpool), a SkyLight glass-roof cover over the Atrium, a sunbathing area with loungers, a shaded seating area (tables, deckchairs, retractable awnings), bike stations, and a deck games area with a Giant Chess Set. The ship’s interior spaces are spacious and modernly furnished, and all venues on Decks 2 and 3 have floor-to-ceiling windows.
