Review of Pride of America deck 5 (Lobby-Shops-Dining1)
Skyline Restaurant (aft Dining Room, capacity 568 seats, complimentary; Your Time/Freestyle dining – Breakfast 7-9 am, Lunch 12-2 pm, Dinner 5:30-9:30 pm; this venue hosts the Skyline Cabaret show)
East Meets West (capacity 64 seats) is the Asian restaurant with Japanese cuisine (complimentary since 2015) open between 5:30-9:30 pm (reservations recommended).
Sushi Bar (located inside East Meets West, 12 seats, a la carte pricing; open for lunch 11:30-2:30 pm and dinner 5:30-9:30 pm)
Teppanyaki Room (32 seats) is the Japanese Hibachi specialty restaurant (reservations’-only, at surcharge US$25 pp, kids charged a full cover). The Teppanyaki restaurant is located inside the East Meets West restaurant, and is open for Lunch (12-1:30 pm) and Dinner (5:30-10 pm). It features live cooking demonstrations and traditionally prepared (a la carte priced) specialties, including sushi, fruit sashimi, Yakitori grill, a sake menu.
Jefferson’s Bistro (84 seats) is the French specialty restaurant (reservations-only, with cover charge US$20 per person, kids charged a full cover). The intimate and romantic Bistro restaurant is dinner-only (open between 5:30-10:30 pm) and offers some of the NCL’s best luxury dining experiences with its upscale amenities, superior white-glove service, sophisticated cuisine with a vintage wines selection and classic French gourmet specialties in the menu. During the day, Jefferson’s Bistro hosts food and wine tasting events.
Pride of America Capitol Atrium (8-decks high US Capitol Building inspired midship area, serving as a social interaction hub and connecting most of the ship’s lounges, bars and entertainment venues)
During drydock 2025, the space of the John Adam’s Bar (55-seat specialty coffee bar, teas, pastry, cookies) and the Atrium Lounge was allocated to the new Starbucks Lounge & Bar. The location of the CruiseNext Desk was also changed.
Newbury Street Shops (boutiques for top brand jewelry, watches, sunglasses, clothing, Hawaiian souvenirs, alcohol and tobaccos- these are NOT tax/duty-free shops due to the cruise region/destination), Photo Gallery & Shop (services, cameras, accessories, memory cards, etc)
Reception (Reservations Desk), Pride’s Shore Excursions Desk / CruiseNext office (booking, information)
Hollywood Theatre (level 2 of 2, offering 2 evening shows/at 7 and 9 pm, comedy acts, musical performances, movies).
