Review of Scenic Tsar deck 1 (Moskva-Lobby-Dining)

All staff accommodations, crew cabins, and the crew lounge/dining area, together with the ship’s engine room, propulsion units, and storage areas (water storage, fuel tanks, ballast water tanks, food, and drinks storage facilities) are located on the Service Deck 0 below.

Medical Center is open 24-hour. Doctor services are at additional cost. Purchasing cruise health insurance is advisable.

Wellness Area (forward starboard) has a Spa massage room and a small Fitness (gym room equipped with a walking machine, a stationary bike, free weights, large flat TV). Complimentary provided are bottled water and towels.

Beauty Salon (port side forward) offers manicures/pedicures, hairdressers, and barber services.

The reception provides 24-hour guest services, assistance, information on the daily program’s scheduled activities. The Reception serves the Scenic Tours cruise excursions booking program and spa reservations. In the lobby area, there is a tea/coffee machine station (complimentary and 24-hour operational).

Panorama Lounge & Bar is the show entertainment lounge. It has floor-ceiling panoramic windows, comfortable seating, and is served by its own bar. The entertainment program here includes daily port talks (related to the Volga cruise itinerary), crew show (talent show in the evening), folkloric show (local musicians and dancers performing on the ship), dance, and cocktail parties. The Lounge has a large-screen TV, also employed by the Russian cruise director for daily lectures and media presentations.

The Gallery has on display traditional Russian arts and crafts. It also doubles as the ship’s Gift Shop, selling luxury merchandise (mostly Russian jewelry, also watches and special-occasion gifts) and local hand-made souvenirs.

Crystal Dining Restaurant is the ship’s open-seating Dining Room. It has floor-ceiling windows, rectangular and round tables (up to 6 seats), 2 buffet stations in the middle. Breakfasts and lunches are mainly buffet-style, with some hot dishes available for off the menu order. The Breakfast menu always includes cereals, fresh fruits, cakes and pastries, cooked-to-order items. The Lunch menu is a la carte and features appetizers, selection of soups, light sandwiches, cold meats, freshly baked bread, Russian (locally sourced) cheeses, salads, 2 main courses, a selection of desserts, fresh fruits. The Dinner menu is 4-course, featuring Russian cuisine specialties, appetizers, entrees (meat, seafood, vegetarian), desserts. Dinners are always waiter-served. For Scenic cruise passengers, complimentary European wines, premium beers, and soft drinks are provided at lunch and dinner. Captain’s formal dinner events (Welcome and Farewell parties) are also held in the Crystal Dining Room.

Moskva Deck cruise cabins from 101 to 104, all of which are Picture Window staterooms (category E).
