SeaDream I deck plans

SeaDream I (built in 1984 as "Sea Goddess I", last refurbished in January 2022, with a planned refurbishment in April 2024) is the first of two identical-design top-luxury superyachts, together with SeaDream 2. The cruise line SeaDream Yacht Club is a private (family-owned) company established in 2001. SeaDream I was previously chartered to Sea Goddess Cruises (1984-1998), and later to the Cunard and Seabourn cruise lines (1999-2001).

SeaDream I cruise ship's deck plan includes a total of 56 staterooms for 94 passengers (maximum capacity 112 guests), served by 100 crew and staff. The yacht has 6 decks (5 passenger-accessible, 3 with cabins), 2 restaurants, 2 lounges and bars, 1 swimming pool, 3 Jacuzzies (outdoor whirlpool hot tubs), a retractable Marina (aft/stern watersports platform), 1 elevator, and an Infirmary (medical facility with hospital room and pharmacy, staffed by a resident doctor).

SeaDream I is a top-luxury cruise yacht operated with all-inclusive deals. The list of complimentary amenities and services includes:

• 5-star resort amenities in cabins: smart UHDTV, CD/DVD player, iPod docking station, well-stocked minibar (complimentary), Bvlgari luxury bath amenities, mirrored vanity table, two twin beds or a queen bed with deluxe bedding and pillow menu, logo-embroidered pajamas, terry bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer, personal safe.
• Open Bar throughout the ship (all drinks included in the fares, except premium alcohol and select wines), with a daily changing selection of fine wines served at lunch and dinner.
• Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet, laptop computers, and powerful binoculars (for onboard use only). Onboard mountain bikes are also offered complimentary during shore excursions. When the yacht is anchored, guests can rent some of the onboard Segways (nominal fee applies).

All guests can enjoy complimentary 24-hour in-room dining and 24-hour room service, twice-daily housekeeping, as well as complimentary laundry and ironing services.

Special events and parties onboard the yacht can be organized by the SeaDream Cruise Director.

SeaDream 1 refurbishments review

In 2022 (January and May), SeaDream carried out a USD 10 million (EUR 8.8 million) drydock refurbishment project for both yachts at Navalrocha Ship Repair in Lisbon (Portugal).

The works included full-scale renovations of all staterooms (new furniture, hardware, textiles, wardrobes, electrical upgrades including USB charging ports, Wi-Fi, fingerprint sensor lighting, and 55-inch smart HDTVs), as well as upgrades to all outdoor deck spaces (premium teakwood flooring, mahogany Balinese beds and sun loungers, Loro Piana upholstery and cushions, Frette towels, and TUUCI parasols and hammocks). Cabin amenities were also upgraded with woven linens, silk pajamas, silver ice buckets, and GioBagnara Miramar trays.

Forward on Deck 6 (the Sundeck sunbathing area), two new Jacuzzies and two rain showers were installed.

The aft-located Marina Platform was also upgraded.
