Review of TUI Elara deck 2 (Middle-Cabins-Lobby-Restaurant)
Forward on the Middle Deck is the Verdastro Restaurant, the ship's complimentary Dining Room with open seating (as opposed to pre-assigned tables) and flexible dining times. The Verdastro provides single-seating capacity and waiter-served breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
Open bar and table drinks like draft beers, house wines, soft drinks (sodas, juices, mineral water), tea, and coffee (from 8 am to 12 midnight) are provided complimentary (included in the cruise fares). Dishes for special diets (gluten-free, lactose-free, diabetic, etc) are provided complimentary upon request. Special dietary requirements, food allergies, and intolerances must be notified in advance. The traditional Captain's Dinner (gala dinner menu) is a formal event held in the Verdastro Restaurant.
In the Foyer (lobby area) are the two ship entrances (portside and starboard), Reception Desk (24-hour guest services - assistance, luggage, purser, information), Tour Desk/Cruise Director's Desk (shore excursions and tours booking, itinerary information) and Boutique Shop (selling souvenirs, logoed merchandise, brand clothing, jewelry, cosmetics, toiletries, sweets).
Aft is located the ship's Engine Room.
One Lift (midship-portside elevator) connects all cabin decks. All decks are interconnected via stairs (forward, midship and aft).
A stairway from the Restaurant connects directly to the Lounge Terrace (bow location on Upper Deck) and from there to Sun Deck's Lounge (outdoor).
Cruise cabins from 201 to 229 are all Middle Deck staterooms in categories French Balcony Junior Suite (20 m2/210 ft2), Superior French Balcony Cabin (16 m2/170 ft2), French Balcony Cabin (14 m2/150 ft2).
