Review of TUI Elara deck 3 (Upper-Cabins-Lounge)

The bow-located Lounge Terrace/Bow Terrace is an outdoor venue with a small seating capacity. A stairway from the Lounge Terrace connects directly to the Restaurant (Middle Deck / below) and to the Sun Deck's outdoor Lounge (above).

The fore-located Observatory (aka Panorama Lounge/Salon-Bar) is the boat's show lounge, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, comfortable seating, and a dance floor. The Observatory serves the cruise company's onboard enrichment program. The list of scheduled evening events includes performances by local guests, live music and themed dance parties. During the day, the Observatory functions as a cinema/event venue, hosting port talks, movie screenings, and interactive quizzes. The Observatory also provides Afternoon Tea service, which includes light sandwiches, sweets (cakes, scones), and a selection of premium teas.

Open bar and table drinks like draft beers, house wines, soft drinks (sodas, juices, mineral water), tea, and coffee (from 8 am to 12 midnight) are provided complimentary (included in the cruise fares). Dishes for special diets (gluten-free, lactose-free, diabetic, etc) are provided complimentary upon request. Special dietary requirements, food allergies, and intolerances must be notified in advance. The traditional Captain's Reception (cocktail party) is a formal event held in the Lounge.

Part of the Observatory is the Library (reading corner with books, puzzles, board games).

One Lift (midship-portside elevator) connects all cabin decks. All decks are interconnected via stairs (forward, midship and aft).

Cruise cabins from 301 to 329 are all Upper Deck staterooms in categories French Balcony Junior Suite (20 m2/210 ft2), Superior French Balcony Cabin (16 m2/170 ft2), French Balcony Cabin (14 m2/150 ft2).
